All have to do with dealing with realities after my husband passing 14 months ago.
I had to clean up some messes, to figure out some other, had to do lots of letting go, had to make some adjustments, was dealing with some health issues and all of that while maintaining the pretense of the normal - whatever that normal is.
All that matter at the moment is that this dark year is over, and let the new, fresh year shine some light in my little world - isn't that the hope of every one of us?
Let the next year be better than the previous one, on whichever level you need it to be.
For the last post of this year, I have appropriate manicure which I did few days ago, and at this moment I have no idea what will actually be on my nails to greet the new year.
For this manicure, I started with Native War Paints - I Make My Own Luck.
Fact that polish is gorgeous is added bonus, don't you think? So we have here a black scattered holo, with some UP (unicorn pee) shimmers that color shift from violet to gold.
Love it! On the swatch above, I am wearing two coats and no top coat.
This was also opportunity to try out new Maniology plate that came in the winter starter kit - M042.
For stamping I used Kaleidoscope St.-02 White, Born Pretty - Metallic Green and Gold and Essie - Good as Gold.
All we need to do is to chill our champagne, and get those flutes ready.
Cheers!
