Today, I am showing you another plate I received from Born Pretty Store for the review.
This is Born Pretty - Skeleton World - L001 item #50342.
Personally, skulls are not my thing, but Halloween is around the corner, and I have to re-visit some of those images then.
For today, I went with those cool stars and planets images. This was actually my second try. I did this in color, and absolutely hated it - never even took a photos, that how much I disliked it. Went with a look where only color is coming from the holographic base, and I totally loved it.
My base is Layla Cosmetics - Flash Black - intense linear holographic polish that made me think of galaxies, and proved to be a perfect base for the look I had in mind. Totally forgot I have it, but moving around stuff for the room update, I came across some beauties that did not see the light of the day in a very long time.
Went with shadow stamping - well that is surprise LOL!
This was actually only way to make my images visible against this intense base. I stamped all images first with black, then with white stamping polish. This was almost blindly done, as I could not really see the black stamping, so I was really impressed with myself once I added a top coat. From time to time, we need to pat ourselves at the back, and pat I did. I also left couple of the images in black, which added some extra depth to the look.
In any case, this amazing plate and much more is available at Born Pretty Store, with really affordable pricing, but there is also my discount code SHGK31 that will save you additional 10% off of your purchase. Shipping was always free there.
