I have quite a few of them, and I am making a rounds at the time, so you can expect some more of this stuff in weeks to come...
Surprize, surprize, I started with - Purple. OK, how many of you did not see that one coming? I do not see any hands up :D...
In a last little while, I received some new magnets, and this obviously is not from the polish bottle. Do not take me wrong - results with the cap are lovely, but I find the cap to be too small and I because of the way my nails are curved, only middle of the nail would have some design, and sides would be undone... Magnet provided on the cap is great if you do not have anything else, and I did use it once or twice, and may use it in the future, I just wanted stronger magnet for cat eye effect.
One I used here I ordered from Born Pretty Store, and you are more than welcome to use my discount code SHGK31 for all full priced items.
As you can tell from above photo both of them - polish and magnet are working perfectly, and thing I liked most about this magnet is that I would get lighter line on the spot over which I held my magnet, while with my old one, one I took from hubby's tool box was sketchy... it would disperse, rather than attract magnetic particles, so I never quite knew where this line will appear, or where to hold the magnet.
On the swatch above, I am wearing two coats, no top coat. I first applied one coat of Polar Purple, let it dry, and applied magnet when second coat was added. There is not doubt where this cat eye is.
This was such an magical effect, that I decided this calls for a magical manicure...
I figured fairy is pretty magical, and quite fitting for this polish.
Images are from Winstonia W420 stamping plate, and I stamped image of fairy first with Mundo de Unas - Black, and then with Winstonia - Silver bullet.
Images of the moon and stars are stamped with Color Club - Harp on it.
I thought that my magical, color changing ring is in order for this manicure. I also purchased this ring at Born Pretty Store, and this ring has a rainbow around, and finishing is so pretty, that on some angles it creates cat eye effect.
I hope you will like this manicure that I did for Caroline's (@tinkerbell1970s) birthday collage on IG.
Happy Birthday Caroline!
To rest of you - Happy Friday - Yaaayyyy!
