Last week, I received a little gift from Candace IG @lesstalkmorepolish, as she opened her store Wet Paint Gift Shop (IG @Wetpaintgiftshop). I absolutely love to support when fellow nail polish enthusiast as myself open her small business, and on the top of it, it is also a fellow Canadian.
She sent me her "Nail Polish Obsessed" enamel pin set (in insert), and two cutest stickers - one is nail polish bottle, and other is cuticle oil bottle.
Set contains three pins, and I decided that each pin needs own matching manicure.
I could start with any of the pins, but I started with lipstick one.
As a base, I used Bio Seaweed Gel - Be Bio - Choose Happy, beautiful mauve creme with amazing formula. This is also a Canadian maker, so it is double the goodie post. LOL! By the way, if you click on the link on the side, you can save $12 by using that link.
I used images from two different plates: Clear Jelly Stamper - CjS H-03 for the lips images, and
ZJoy - plus-018 for the lipstick image. I actually enlarged that image, and this is the first time for me to do it. I usually need to scale them down. For enlarging the image I used Clear Jelly Stamper resizing stamper. Stamper has a screw like feature inside that helps to raise middle of the stamper to stretch it. For sizing up the image, you unscrew until you have the regular stamper. Pick up the image, and then twist the screw to stretch the stamper and in the process enlarge the image. You would do exact opposite for sizing down (shrinking) the image, screw is up and stamper head is stretched. You pick up the image, and then you unscrew until you have the size you would like it. I actually added the link, in case that you want to check what I am actually talking about.
I paired that cute little pin with my sweater, and you can see it as a last photo. That may not be the best pairing, but it is what it is. Hope you like my matching manicure.
Just a little fun fact - as much as I love my nails glossy, I always loved my lipstick matte. Go figure!
Today is my first work day after the surgery, and I hope that all will go well.
Hope you will have a great day.
Cheers!
