Moving on with the review of the December My Mani Box, themed Cheers To The Holidays.
My Mani Box is a subscription box available for pre-order at Beautometry.
Every month is a new theme, and March theme was Birds of a feather.
Today will be announced the theme for the April box, and I did not know it at the time at the writing this blog post.
Box is priced at $35, and there is also a flat rate shipping to Canada of $5.
Box is available to customers with USA or Canadian address.
On the photo above, you can see the contents of that box, and so far I shown you Cuticula - Scented Blush Base Coat, and I also used the yellow bar glitters.
Today, I will show you NCLA - I Been Drinkin'
Biggest compliment is that I wore it just like the swatch above to work, and I did not wore single color in a very long time.
I wanted something pretty over this beauty, but in the same time, I did not want to cover the color completely.
With strong colors like this one, simplicity is the best answer. This color would overshadow whatever you do over the top.
Even though this is pretty bright color, depending on what you do over, you can make it pretty elegant. I just wanted to show you versatility of those boxes and polishes that come in them.
This My Mani Box contained two stamping plates, so I decided to use one of them for design.
I used MoYou London - Crystal Collection -05 stamping plate.
I looked for least snowflake-y image, and I found it in the second row. I love that this plate has 10 full sized images, but also has 7 individual images, that are somewhat similar to the full sized ones, and can be worn together or separately.
For stamping, I used Hit the Bottle - A Glint Of Gold, gold holographic stamping polish.
I used the same image, but I positioned it two different ways. I centred it on my nail on my mid and ring finger, and did just a part of the image on my index and pinky.
In a way, this reminded me on enameled tile, with a gold inlay. This is my story and I am sticking to it.
All was finished with the top coat.
Holographic stamping polish just gave it that extra sparkle, so this felt so festive without going overboard.
