Recently, Tamala from Prairie Crocus Polish (Canadian Indie Maker) posted a photo of my swatch of her beautiful polish - Cleopatra. I knew that moment that I have to go through my drawers and boxes to find it and use it again. Cleopatra is shimmery, gorgeous coppery polish that is fully opaque in two easy coats. Tamala is also the only one I know that uses biodegradable glitters, and that is good to know if you into preservation of the nature and natural sources.
I paired this polish with grey creme by Joe Fresh - Slate.
I hand painted the swirly lines and added a little bit of white for the contrast. All was topped with glossy top coat, as I love my sparkly polish to be exactly that - sparkly!
I was totally in love with this! Design is simple, yet captivating, abstract and elegant all at the same time. It was really nice feeling to get a glimpse of them.
Interesting enough, I was wearing this last week when the inspiration photo for this week's #AllAbstractTuesday was sent to us. I gave a little squeak, as colors were identical, and this totally worked for it. Love when things happen like this. I really did not want to spend some of the precious resting time in figuring out the manicure that would match the theme. It was almost like I had a premonition...
It was challenging to move for a few days, so not worrying about anything was a good thing. I got some rest for my back, and I hope that short week will help with further recovery.
Weekend full of good food does not help a waist line, so that is another reason why it is nice to go back to work... kind of...
