Gold base is one of the Cosmetic Arts polishes I purchased in a gift set couple of Christmases ago... Because of being in a gift set, no polishes had a name on them, which is so unfortunate, if you ever want to purchase one. Cosmetic Arts is made by Color Club Lacquer, so bottles are identical, and quality is the same. I never tried quite a few of those polishes, so that was reasoning behind trying this one.
In the one of the gift packs (OK, I am busted, I might of purchase more than one...), there was couple of crackling polishes, and I did try to use one, and I hated results enough to take everything off, and start from the beginning. I knew that I did not want to do any distressing for the change, I wanted to do one really clean manicure.
While I was looking for the items I never tried, I also had a perfect plate I never had a chance to use from MoYou London.
For stamping, I used Kaleidoscope St-01 Black from El Corazon Shop, and I even did one decal... go me :D .
For perfect placement, I used my clear jelly stamper.
I topped this with AM Custom Color - Diamond Pro, 5-Free fast dry top coat. Even though I was into matte look lately, I was surprized how much I liked this manicure glossy.
Few years back, friend of mine, gifted me tri-gold necklace. When I wore it for the first time, my middle son told me that I looked like Egyptian god... I did have to correct him that I would have to be a goddess...hehehe - it is nice to think of yourself as a higher being. Ever since then, every time I wear this necklace, I think of ancient Egypt, and I took it out of the pouch to use as a prop - I am yet to master the way of showcasing pieces of jewellery like that. I could of wear the necklace, but I am really fussy about the photos I take, and I had nobody to ask to take a photo exactly the way I wanted... maybe next time...
As always, thank you for stopping by. My inner geek is happy.
Cheers!
