Easter chicks is a prompt for one of the challenges I am participating in. Little chicks are cute, but to have a little chicks, you need big one, and you need the egg...
That was kind of my train of thought...
I started with super soft and super pretty polish from Celestial Cosmetics - Mina.
On the other hand, Easter themed plates are rare and far in between in my collection, so I kind of use what I have at hand.
I went with images that are on Creative Shop 05 stamping plate. This plate has few spring themed images, and this is what I used for this manicure.
First, using a Messy Mansion - Forest, I stamped some grassy images on all of my nails, then using a dotting tool, I added some colorful flowers using different shades of stamping polish. That transformed that image into blooming pasture, just the place where this chicken decided to sit on her highly decorated egg...
First, I picked the image with Born Pretty - Gold, then after applying decal I double stamped it with DRK Nails - Metallic brown for little bit more of the definition... I was sorely lacking some depth perception, and my alignment was bit off, but I can explain that... that is movement of the wings! LOL!
Even though I though that white chick would look good against all of that green, it just looked so flat. That prompted me to reach for my sheer polishes, and I picked OPI - I am Not Amberrassed. Just adding little bit of that yellow made me like this manicure more.
This is such a fresh, spring manicure, it put me into a really good mood.
Cheers!
