I did this one while watching the movie, and could not love it more than I did when I done it.
Colors are so great together, and I had fun doing them.
This set is mixture of stamping and freehand and earthy tones really played on my heart strings here.
In the same time, it has such a retro feel, kind of '70s jam that also appealed to me at the moment - I guess I am feeling somewhat sentimental, and nostalgic, so this totally played in the choices of everything here.
Over the semi-sheer base, I used gold, olive green, dusky blue, turquoise, and even though I loved the colors, in the end I decided that little touch of warm brown was all I needed here... I was contemplating adding more, but little touches of brown did it for me.
Some days it is hard for me to stop adding, especially with the abstract. I never can really tell when it is actually finished, and when it is way too much. I guess, it is all in the eye of the beholder...
Yesterday, I finally made it into my garden, and month without my help surely shows... I spent part of the morning weeding, which was so badly needed, but once it got warmer, I hid inside, and did some other things that needed my attention for a while. It is amazing how much growth is there when there is a nice supply of the rain...
It is nice to accomplish something even though it was not totally planned, just spur of the moment kind of thing.
I hope you are keeping cool and hydrated wherever you are.
Cheers!
