White base is Jessica - Sharktooth, and I am almost done with that bottle. White is the only polish color that I go through... and when I open the bottle, I do not use any other until open bottle is done. It is always on my desk, ready to be used.
For dry brush, I used following polishes: Models Own - Coral, Cupcake Polish - Instant Re-Leaf, Heroine NYC - Mean Girl, Kaleidoscope St. 16 Green Neon and La Femme - Amarelo.
Have to admit, I really liked this funky and bright base for my manicure. I had to snap a photo or two to show you how this looked before I decided to stamp over.
This background made me so happy, I could go many ways with it, and when I am overwhelmed with decision about what kind of design to pick, I let my stamping plates inspire me. I reached for one of my plate holders, and first plate in there captured my interest, so I decided this is it! Stamping plate is YZW-No1, purchased on AliExpress.com, and was part of the set of 10 stamping plates. I love all the plates in that set, and going back to them over and over again...
I went with some marsh birds design here, and even though my heron was stamped about 5 times using different colors, I decided that black is the best choice, and used that throughout on all my nails.
Stamping polish I used is Hit the Bottle - As Black As Night. I used Lucky 13 Lacquer quick drying top coat from Anya's Elemental Ward series of top coats. Those top coats are scented, and there is plenty of scents to choose from, but there is unscented version too. Love the fact that I can stamp, or freehand and use this top coat, and not have it smeared.
Even though I started this manicure undecided how to proceed, in the end I loved how finished manicure looked.
All I can say in the end is- Have a wonderful week.
Cheers!
