It is usually made around wooden hoop, and decorated with little pieces of leather, beads and feathers. Some are more intricate then other, but meaning is the same.
I actually like the idea of capturing the bad dreams from sleeping person, so they could rest. If you were ever plugged by nightmares, you would appreciate it too.
I am not sure about you, but I was always a dreamer... I was always a vivid dreamer, and my dreams range from sweet to bizarre, from serene, to something from Indiana Jones and/or very frightening... Some mornings I just shake my head to whatever my brain produced unsupervised - and often wonder where all of this stuff is coming from! In my dreams I also visit strange and amazingly beautiful places, that I often wonder if places like that ever existed... I think that dear old Sigmund Freud would have field day with me, and in the end, he would scratch his own head!
I went with super simple color scheme here. I heard most of the people dreams are black and white, which is strange to me... most of my dreams are colored.
I decided to give the this one to Cindy for presentation, and you will see - she did brilliantly. So talented :D .
As a base, I used Sally Hansen - Pink Pong- pretty pink leaning nude crème, and I though this one looked pretty good on me. This is very adult color for me, and made me feel sophisticated.
I paired it with Zoya - Ginni, nude pink textured glitter - Pixie dust, and I really liked this combo. I used Ginni only once before, which is such a shame, as I love how elegant this looks. Bling without being so obvious, very neutral but so pretty.
For stamping I used my trusty Mundo de Unas - Black and Bundle Monster BM-S301 stamping plate. This plate came in their Festival set, and I am re-discovering that set one plate at the time... I also trying to give the love to my plates that do not see that much of the use lately.
Over Pink Pong, I added Sally Hansen - Big Matte Top Coat.
What I liked the best about this manicure is clean, uncluttered look. I love crisp, clean lines, that are not bogged by too much color that would take away from the intricate design.
To me it symbolize just the shadow of the dream in the morning... Like you have this amazing dream, and you wake up and say to yourself I have to remember this one in the morning, but when morning comes, dream is gone, and there are just loose threads left that lead nowhere, and harder you try to remember it, further it gets buried in your memory...
I am also into glitter and matte crème polish look, and here, I also added some texture, which appealed to me on more than one level.
Thank you for stopping by, and I hope I will see you tomorrow.
Cheers, and also sweet dreams.
