Somehow, magical world of fairies comes to my mind when I think of them. In my mind, I can see them as a messengers between this and fairy world.
Maybe that is because I seen some of fossilized dragonflies captured in amber and stone... they seem to be around for a very long time... regardless, those are rare insects that I enjoy watching, and rare ones that I do not want to squish.
As a base, I used this amazingly beautiful polish from Celestial Cosmetics - Unicorn Fields. Unicorn Fields is brilliant emerald green holographic polish, and was the love at the first sight.
Of course that I had to include magical world of nature and this gorgeous polish in this manicure. I used word magical - way too often today, just because I can not find word that would come even close to describing my thoughts.
Images are from Helen 11 and Helen 20 stamping plates, and I used my Clear Jelly Stamper for double stamping.
First, I stamped images with El Corazon st.-01 Black, and then with Mundo de Unas - White.
I filled in the wings of single dragonfly using another Celestial Cosmetics polish - Snow Unicorn.
Topped with glossy, fast drying Seche top coat.
I could not decide on the background, so I used both - white and holographic one, and of course that my dragonfly ring would make an appearance!
This manicure came along exactly the way I hoped it would. That does not happen often. I love fresh green of the polish and simple, monochromatic stamping. Green reminded me of the spring I so desperately wait for, because this is the color I want to see in my garden, but in the same time, dragonflies remind me of the hot summer, that seem to be so far away...
I hope that you will have great weekend.
I also wanted to wish a happiest birthday to Pernilla. She also loves dragonflies.
Cheers!
