Melissa sent me her Double D Duo, which contains 2 glitter toppers, both having the names that are made out of 2 words, both starting with the letter D - if you wondered about the name, LOL. You can purchase them as duo or as a single polish, it is your choice. Melissa also sell them in big and smaller sized bottle, and for the reference, I am holding minis.
Both polishes are available in her Etsy shop, and let me introduce you with the first polish out of this duo.
This is Disco Dancer.
On the swatches I am wearing one coat of Disco Dancer over L'Oreal - Liya's Nude.
This was so pretty - neutral, yet so festive. I ended up freehanding black and white design over, but completely blanked out when was the time to take the photos. Never ever I did forgot to take the photo of the finished manicure, especially after took me forever to paint it, and I absolutely adored the finished result.
I did however took a crappy video for my own amusement, and I tried to lift the photo from it, but quality is so low, that I am opting out posting it.
This means that I will just sail along to the second polish in this duo. It is named Dancing Diva.
As you can clearly see by my color choices, I subconsciously paired them like a male and female. Did not actually notice this until now. Go figure.
On the swatches, I am wearing 2 coats of Dancing Diva over L'Oreal - Royalty Reinvented.
I loved this one very much. Maybe it is because of a color, but in any case, this baby was a sparkle galore!
Name also took me waay back to my teen years - big hair, big purses and big shoulder pads! All that, and night at the Disco with my best girls! Those were the days of the care free living and enjoying the life in fullest. How many times I walked home because I missed the last bus! More often than I cared to remember I walked 10 K home in high heels within the hour! Now, I can't imagine spending couple of hours sitting and wearing the heals - how life changed for me since then... so before I get lost on the memory lane, let me continue with the narative.
That is what I was kind of going for with the ad on to this beautiful topper.
Images I picked are on Pueen 118 little round plate I purchased just for those images. Stamping polishes used are Maniology - Straight-Up Black + Bam! White.
All was topped with Melissa's MDJ Creations - Smooth Finish - fast dry top coat.
Hope you are keeping warm and keeping safe.
Cheers!
