Regardless my current preferences, I really did enjoyed a little trip down to memory lane with you.
Recently, I posted the watermarble manicure I was not especially proud of, and I sat down to do the infamous watermarble again.
Trouble with watermarble is that I really have a little clue what I am doing, but that did not stopped me before... Point is that you have to bite the bullet and actually do whatever - no matter how good you are, just remember that practice makes perfect.
I have to admit I was pretty pleased with the results, even though I could not make two marbles that would look the same to save my life. LOL!
This is what I ended up with here, before I proceeded with stamping.
My pink was little bit on the sheer side, so to make it more interesting, I pulled out Orly - Mirror Ball. This is holographic topper that can be worn as a polish too, as builds up really easily.
I loved how you can see some of the bigger glitters shining through.
My favorite nail was thumb, and I could not recreate the position to save my life! I applied one coat of Mirror Ball over index and pinky, to make it more sparkly. I love that marble on my index looks like the heart.
My result was bit psychedelic, so I just played on that theme...
Remember how I shared with you the glitter placement hack recently? I used that technique to create the Disco ball. I think that name of the glitter polish and psychedelic marble result kind of picked the add on for me.
Images I used are on CK-21 stamping plate I have forever, and I love those "Saturday Night Fever" kind of images. I could not resist taking the photo of both hands, especially because I do this very rarely.
I hope you will like this as much as I did.
Happy Monday everyone!
Cheers!
