It is not a secret that my favorite season is Spring. Why? Because everything is awaken from long, cold Winter. Trust me, it gets pretty cold here, and it seems that snow will be there till August some years. Then, like on cue, you can see the first patches of the ground, and there are the first heralds of the spring - it starts with snow drops, crocus, violets, tulips, daffodils, and nature just takes off on it's own course. Trees are getting a new dress in fresh green, and some become like a blushing bride dressed up in the lacy floral gown...
Purple is my favorite color, and I wear it all year long, and I thing that pastel-ish shade of Picture Polish - Wisteria is perfect for Spring.
I am wearing two coats plus top coat, and phot is taken under artificial lighting conditions.
I went with delicate wisteria flowers, or with the image that look most like the wisteria.
I triple stamped the image from Powder Perfect - Floral 1 stamping plate. I stamped with forest green, then with metallic purple and finished with some pretty pastel pink. Love the dimension this stamping got. It is understated, and delicate, yet elegant and feminine.
I could not decide if I liked this better glossy or matte. First two photos are glossy, and last one is with matte top coat. This polish looks equally beautiful glossy and matte, and I felt really bad that I did not did a matte swatch too...
Smoke filled our valley again. Fires are getting closer to home, and strong winds in combination with extra dry and hot conditions is not doing us any favors. More than 1500 people are evacuated already, and about 25000 is on evacuation alert. On the top of it we are also under thunderstorm watch, as those can start more fires.
My prayers are with all of the displaced people that lost their homes in last 24 hours.
Be safe and stay safe, wherever you are.
