After a cooler day yesterday, we should get ready for another heat wave, and I have to admit, I am not looking forward to it. But it is what it is, as in no time it will be really cold, which will bring its own set of problems...
While it is summer, we should enjoy it, and I planned to give a try to some weeding and dead heading in my garden, to prolong the blooming season - my lavender bushes are pretty much done, and there is still lots of summer left.
Today I have a pretty pink polish by 'Ard As Nails - Hot to Trot, pink crelly with color shifting blue to purple flakes. I am wearing it because this weekend 'Ard As Nails is turning 7 years, and I am glad that I was part of their journey - at least as a customer. I love the formula, and colors, and I do own quite a few crellies. This is British Indie maker, and I am glad that there is Canadian exchange where I can get my hands on some of their polishes. I purchased mine at NailStuff.ca, and for those that would make a first purchase with Victoria, I do have a one time discount code SANJA10, that will save you 10% off of your purchase, even if items are on sale.
This polish is in my collection for a couple of years at least, and is not available for the purchase any more, but there is plenty of others to pick from.
I was in a pink mode, and only this polish would do for me yesterday, so that is still on my nails.
Lately, I am really good in completely covering up whatever I am wearing with stamping, no matter how much I like it, that this time I decided to go with something minimal, delicate, intricate, how ever you want to call it.
It was looking great just with white, but I had to add little bit of the navy in the mix, and have to admit that this color combo was one I was wearing pretty much the whole week... Good thing I already have in plan something totally different, so I am glad that this was just a short term obsession...
Images used are on Nicole Diary - 237 stamping plate I purchased recently. I really love the delicate images that can be used individually or combined as I did here. They are all unique, and I do not have steady enough hand to paint those fine lines. When I comes to the steady hand, my immunosuppressant medication has so many side effect, some of which are super dry skin, and tremors from time to time. My hands were shaking so badly, that brush just jumped out of my hands, and until I seen the photos, I did not realized that I actually painted my bottle in the process...
Stamping is tricky too, as I have little control where anything lands... Don't me let you start on taking the phots while your hands are shaking... Good thing that I have digital camera and can take million photos then just delete the ones I do not like. Otherwise I would go bankrupt purchasing all the film... LOL! See, there is always a silver lining, something to be grateful for.
Have yourself an amazing weekend.
Cheers!
