Naturally, we will all turn the blind eye to the little imperfections...
I started with super pretty Native War Paints - Penny, Penny, Penny.
I have a hard time describing this really complex color. It is vine, with some blue undertones, and wonderful coppery shimmers, and scattered holographic flashes. Just delicious, with flawless application. I am looking forward to the cooler weather for all of my pretty dark colors.
In all of its complexity, this is actually really neutral color, and I truly enjoyed it.
On the swatch above, I am wearing two coats and no top coat.
I was going for the simple, yet layered look, and we all know that layering might present a slight challenge for me. One of my friends described her technique as a 'panic stamping' and to day I am still looking for the better description. Like I am super duper with the first coat, and then you need to align the next layer when you panic and just dab that stamper on your nails, regardless where will land it.
I used here stamping plate that may not be the proper layering stamping plate, but I made it work for me. Plate I used is Mezerdoo B11 stamping plate.
First, I stamped with Kleancolor - Metallic Yellow, then with DRK Nails - Extra Black.
Had what seemed to be an endless day yesterday, and I am hoping for the better today.
Cheers!
