It completely slipped my mind that in December Pickup event is little bit sooner than usual due to holiday season.
December pickup starts on monday
Once again, I had a pleasure of trying out Lucky 13 Lacquer contribution for both events.
December Indie Pickup (IPU)
For IPU we have a Lotion of Immortality Trio.
Boy, do I ever love those lotions! They are thick moisturizing lotion, wonderful on cuticles and hands and anywhere else!
Made with Shea butter, Aloe and love. Little bit goes long way.
Each jar contains 20g of lotion.
Whiskey Business - Unburden with some bourbon in these trying times. Includes notes of Whiskey, Vanilla and oak barrels.
The End Of The World - Smoldering Ruins and wood after the apocalypse. Includes notes of the trees and barest hint of the burning wood. This one was my favourite of the trio.
Damn Fine Coffee - Freshly brewed & black as midnight of a moonless night. Includes notes of Columbian coffee beans. Note: this scent is different from the April 2019's Damn Fine Cup of Coffee.
Inspiration: Nuclear Winter.
Price: $11.
Cap: 40US/5UK.
December Polish Pickup (PPU)
When the ashes settle down, crawl out through the fallout.
Polish of the month is named Nuclear Winter Wonderland.
just check the glow in the collage. Sorry for the bad resolution, but I am not skilled in taking the thermal polish photos. At least you can get a glimpse of that red glow- pretty cool if you ask me.
Available between December 2-6, 2019.
Cap: 130 US/ 10 UK.
Price: $10.
As with the IPU, this one is also inspired by nuclear winter... in a case of the nuclear war, lots of sod would go up in stratosphere and would block the sunlight to penetrate to Earth. That would cause cooling, but eventually would kill the life on Earth... not to mention the radiation and what it wold cause in genetic makeup of every living creature if they actually survive...
Quite apocalyptic picture here...
With that mental image, I created this nuclear winter look with bare, dead trees, and warm state of the polish provided eerie glow of the sun through the sod...
All done freehand - like I needed to even say that!
Have a marvelous day.
Cheers!
