Day 8 revealed 15 ml tube of Madam Glam - Polygel in Vintage Orchid.
I like my current length and my job is not allowing me much longer nails, but I wanted to show you how is this looking on the nails.
Once again, I prepared a little collage, little show and tell, and I almost remembered to take the photos of every single stage - almost is the key word.
I did not want to have it on all nails, but once again, I did it on one nail - this time on my thumb.
Last time, I applied the Polygel onto the nail form, and today I was trying the different way of application. This time I applied it directly on the nail, then just by pressing the nail form over, Polygel evenly spread on the nail.
Using the Slipping solution and Polygel Brush (day 4) I cleaned underside and patted the Polygel to create the extension. I cured it 2 cycle in my LED lamp.
After I removed the nail form, I filed the extension to the shape I always wanted, but could not really pull due to the way my nails curve as they grow.
I wiped the dust, applied No Wipe Top Coat (day 6). See what I did here? I pretty much used all the products I did not review separately!
I could not leave it like this, so I decided to do something fun with the extension I just created.
Using Madam Glam - Gardenia soak off gel polish (ivory colored), I painted the tip. After curing, I added a gold accent using Madam Glam - If I were rich girl (not available any more), to complete design, then using some diamond shaped green glitters and few dots of red polish I added some Holly berries. Once again, I sealed it all with No Wipe Top Coat.
It is December after all, and I could not resist doing the design that would be festive.
Wow! That was lots of writing just for the one nail, but at least you got the idea what you can do with product like this. I like the most fact that gel is see-through, and is perfect for the French tip kind of manicures, especially for those with darker skin tones.
I removed this by filing the glossy shell, then soaking it off using the cotton dipped in acetone and held with the clip.
My nail did not have any damage from the removal.
