When times are hard, I usually turn to the things that make me happy - reading, painting, home improvement, cooking/eating or whatever else makes you happy, or relax you and help you just for a short time escape the grind of the daily life.
Manicure I am wearing today could be seen as a polar opposite of the one I shown you yesterday. Interesting enough, both are featuring the pine cones.
As a base for this manicure I used Lucky 13 Lacquer - Lady of the Moon. This was one of the Sailor Moon inspired polishes I had a pleasure of the reviewing couple of years ago.
This is black crelly, full of gold shimmers, and gold glitters in different size plus holographic gold crescent moon glitters. Here I am wearing 2 generous coats plus top coat.
I shown you white version of this polish earlier this month.
Crescent moon glitters did not really want to come out to play, so when one of them landed on my middle finger, I was not going to waste it.
I included this in my design, and I tried to show the forest lit by moonlight - Apparently I have the thing for the moonlit forest. LOL! Trust me, I will not wonder in one any time soon, especially during the night.
All images are on Creative Shop 22s stamping plate.
For the trees on my middle finger I used 4 different green stamping polishes, not that you can tell, but I love the depth I managed to create just by moving the same design and stamp it over and over again.
I wanted for that branch to stand out against the black, so I first stamped the image using the white stamping polish, then I stamped it in green and brown.
I really liked how this manicure turned out, and I hope you will feel the same about it.
All I can tell you in the end is to hold on, one more day, and then it is weekend - we will make it.
Cheers!
