When I did this, I needed something light and happy, and have to admit, I was bit nostalgic.
All started when I painted my nails with Bluebird Lacquer - The Ryan King.
The Ryan King is super pigmented and so easy to achieve opacity, and on the swatch above, I am wearing two coats and no top coat. I could not stop looking at this polish.
You have to admit, dark polish looks amazing on the short nails.
Considering that this polish is so deep, I wanted the light and airy design over, one that will not take over the spotlight, but make the base even more beautiful.
My choice was totally unseasonal stamping plate by Nicole Diary-L20, item #48670, that I got from Born Pretty Store. I do have the discount code SHGK31 that will save you 10% even on the sale items. Unfortunately, this plate is not available at the moment, otherwise I would add the link to the product.
Simple white stamping was enough for me here, as the delicate images were perfect for this base. White was bright and crisp, and I adored the simple look.
Love all the images on this plate, and I wish that I can be like the little fairy that is using the dandelion seed pod as a way to travel. One thing is for sure, I would go where there is no pandemic, where I can actually relax and recharge my depleted batteries from the battles of day to day living in the crazy world and times we are all facing.
Have yourself an amazing day, and even though it is so early in the season, don't forget to make the wish when you see the fluffy dandelion and blow the seeds to carry on your wish into the universe. Done this million times as a child...
Cheers!
