You would never know it is middle of the May!
For this one, I mixed some texture with shimmers and stamping...
Textured polish is Zoya - Linds, and this is the first time I use it. When I purchased it, photo on the website looked more red, and less orange... we know how I feel about orange, so there was no overwhelming excitement from me when Linds finally arrived. I guess, initial shock wore out, and I was ready to utilize it, and was pleasantly surprized how much I actually like it!
After I started to apply it, I remembered that I have very similar polish from Canadian Indie maker - Steel City Reflections - The Other Woman. The other woman is shimmery polish that for some reason I associate with autumn. I did not use The Other Woman for a long time, and it is perfect match for Linds.
Coverage wise, Linds took one, while The Other Woman took three coats for full opacity.
Some days, I wonder which polish to use for stamping. Black, white, silver and gold are easy choices, safe choices... but... But I have plenty of colored stamping polishes that I want to use, and that is usually where my dilemma is...
Because I used one Canadian polish for this manicure, I decided to use stamping polish from another Canadian Indie maker - Girly Bits Cosmetics - Silly Daffodilly. I did not used it in a while, and almost forgot I have it. What I also forgot is how bright and saturated Silly Daffodilly actually is! In the bottle, it looks really pale, vanilla yellow, but is so much darker and brighter on the nail.
I used dandelion image from UR Beautiful -18 stamping plate and my clear jelly stamper for stamping.
When done, I went outside, and found dandelion in my lawn that just asked to be picked up as prop for this summery looking manicure.
I wish you day filled with sunshine!
Cheers!
