Now I am trying to catch up on that, and to give the explanation for those that need it.
Crelly is semi sheer creme polish that can be built to a full opacity, and more often than not, will give you that delicate, fine china look, that could be also be described as "squishy".
Jelly can be clear or colored, it is see through, and no matter how many layers you add, will always be sheer.
Both of those are excellent carriers for the glitters and flakies. Crellies are fantastic alone, while jellies can be used as toppers too, and if in clear base, also are known as glitter bombs.
I am hoping that this cleared some of my terminology. When I started this journey, I had to learn the whole new vocabulary.
Today I am wearing a white crelly polish by Revlon - Ethereal. I own it for several years, and totally forgot I had it. I recently came across it, and could not wait to use it again.
Because I have it for several years, I really can't tell you if it is still available.
For today's manicure, I wanted really soft look, and this was perfect base for what I had in mind.
After couple of coats of Ethereal, I decided to play with one of my loose glitters, and I am pretty sure that this jar was in one of Maniology's My Mani Boxes they sent me for the review couple of years ago.
I placed some glitters on my pinky, added layer of Ethereal, then some more glitters, creating a crelly of my own.
Have to admit that I really liked results, especially when I applied the matte top coat.
Super cute snail image on my ring finger is on Kads - Nature 009 stamping plate also received for review couple of years ago. I stamped outlines of the snail, then using the colored jellies I colored in the shell.
Full nail image that reminded me of plenty of snail shells is on Fab Ur Nails - Fun 20 stamping plate I purchased at Beautometry.
I used several stamping polishes for this look:
Hit the Bottle - Bubblegum Bliss;
Maniology - Satin Blush, Confetti, Restless Dahlia and Delirium.
I absolutely loved the results and I wore it for four days before finally removing it.
Who knew that I would like the snail and almost the pastel look so much!
Have a wonderful day!
Cheers!
