This design started as a suggestion for the next design by one of my younger co-workers.
She actually wanted me to do a chocolate chip cookie. I said why just a cookie! may as well add a Cookie Monster! She was so delighted with the idea, I did not have a heart to tell her that I was just kidding.
When I came home, I sat down, and painted this on both hand for next day. Have to admit that I did not expect to like this at all. Ended up being one of my favorite designs. I got so many compliments on them, and who ever seen it, made them smile. In return, that made my day.
I will seriously consider next suggestion, as this seemed to be a hit! What to tell you, I aim to please!
On my middle and ring finger I applied Dimension Nails - Giant Anteater. This pale blue shade seem to be a perfect base for the freehand design. I love Stephanie's creme polishes - they have smooth, creamy formula and they are so nice and opaque. For my Canadian friends, you can purchase Dimension Nails at NailStuff.ca, where you can also get 10% off using code SANJA10 for your first purchase.
On rest of the nails, I am wearing Illyrian Polish - Temptation. This is one of the Polish Pickup (PPU) exclusives. I used to shop lots during the PPU events, but their shipping is so high right now, that I refuse to pay for it. Too bad, as this was great way to try different brands for the flat shipping rate.
For Cookie Monster, I used Sally Hansen - Pacific Blue + Cerulean. Little bit of black and white was all that was needed. He also got requested chocolate chip cookies.
It just happened that I had triple chocolate cookies at home, and I literary wrestled last cookie from my son's hand so I can take few photos. When I gave it back to him, he looked at me very suspiciously, and concluded that I am just weird... He is my son, so I am not sure that he can escape the same label! LOL!
Just came home from the office Christmas party, and I had a blast! Great food and even better people are recipe for the perfect evening.
My cheeks still hurts from the laughing.
Going to bed now, and I am wishing you all the best weekend.
Cheers!
