It is not that I did not like this one, I just liked the one I entered in the contest more. It had more details, while this one was almost like a color blocking, very basic. It kind of grew on me since then, and lucky you got to see it today.
Maybe I was wrong about this, but I guess we will never know how would this one perform!
Because I did this freehand, and because I love the color combo, I decided it is the time for this master piece to see the light of the day... LOL!
Style of this manicure is so different for me. I am not the stranger to the bold colors and unusual color combos, but this one was different, even though I can't put my fingers on why is that.
Picture Polish shades used for this manicure are as follows: Bonkers (plum), Ziggy (magenta), Nemesis (shimmering burgundy), O'Hara (red) and Rebelle (peach).
As per contest rules, I was allowed black and white, and I used them too. More the merrier! LOL!
In a way, this reminded me of the stained window, and that particular art form required some serious talent not just in welding the led that will hold the glass, but also cut and incorporate the glass pieces into design.
In the same time, image is modern, bold and feminine in the same time. My love for the floral design is huge, and I love poppies too, so picking this pattern was no brainer for me.
Because there is so many things about this that I love, my decision to share this design with you was so much easier.
On the first photo you can see all the polish colors used, and also on my phone there is a original photo from the Pattern Bank.
I hope you will like this one, and not be like me to dismiss it as I did originally...
Have yourself a wonderful weekend.
Cheers!
