I work this week, but then I am off for the week, so needless to say, I am so ready for the well deserved staycation. I wish I could go to some exotic destination, but my bank account say - keep on dreaming...
Well, that said, there is the wedding I am attending at the end of the August on the coast, and I have to admit, I am so looking forward to it.
Not just the wedding part, but the part of seeing my niece and rest of the family, but also for the short reprieve from the everyday.
For today's manicure I used Pahlish Polish - Casse Noisette as a base.
When they arrived, all three brands at the same time, I kind of scratched my head, and declared a senior moment. I am fine with having very similar polishes - no wonder that I have about 2000 bottles at home. OOPSIE! I did not plan to disclose this, but I possibly have more than that, regardless the fact that I am constantly weeding and sending some of the polishes to a good homes...
This type of base is really easy for the nail art, as it is really not clashing with much.
For today, I decided to stamp the climbing rose image, and I am happy to report that my climbing rose started to bloom again. Last weekend I trimmed the spent blooms, and this week I noticed few buds opening. I will be happy to see any blooms this year.
Just hoping for some rain... even though we have to be careful what we are wishing for - half of the Europe is under the water... So much extreme weather this year all over the place.
Images are on Powder Perfect - Floral 1 stamping plate.
As usual, my stamping polish of the choice was Maniology - Straight -Up Black. I will be sorry to see it gone, as I really enjoy how opaque this stamping polish is.
I colored the images with combination of different polishes, and I love how my roses look, all two tones...
All that is left for me to do is to wish all of you a wonderful week.
Cheers!
