Considering that is still a summer time, I went with bright and light color scheme, that reminded me of the citrus fruits - lemons and limes.
As a base, I used a pale yellow glitter bomb I purchased years ago at Sally's Beauty, by Bitzy - Perky. I wish I used at least a milky base underneath, so my yellow is more visible. I usually do not care for the sheer finishes, but with glitters, they do not bother me. Go figure.
I wanted it to be bright, so I selected stamping polishes by Esmaltes da Kelly - Kaa (neon yellow) and Bruce (neon green), but there was little contrast, so I added some white to make the neon pop and then some black dots as everything still looked pale to me.
It did not help that my camera faded some of the color too... In any case, this set was so fun to wear, I could not stop looking at them.
Matte top coat made those iridescent glitters look like a little ice crystals trapped under the swirls.
I will have to do something similar in a different color scheme, as I really like how this looked on my nails.
I am totally into the abstract lately, and my apologies to all of you that do not care for it. It is just so fun to do something out of the comfort zone. I have lots to learn yet, and having the fun with the process. Abstract is not easy for me, as I was always more for the realistic kind of painting, not just on my nails, but on the canvas too, which tells you just how much out of my comfort zone this really is.
Summer should be fun, and I am trying to have the best of it.
I hope that you too are having the fun, no matter what you consider the fun. As long as you enjoy it, and hurts nobody that is what counts.
Have an amazing day.
Cheers!
