It is end of the month, so I better post those before new collection comes out.
August collection is named School of Glam, and first shade I will show you is Cat's Pajamas.
I really loved this neutral shade, and I wanted to freehand something over, and this did not end up looking the way I imagined it...
First, I applied matte top coat by Madam Glam - Velvet, as my understanding was that chrome powder will not adhere to it. Then I freehand painted the random circles with No Wipe Top Coat, and tried to apply powder, but it adhered to everything but to the top coat... That done, I decided to keep the some of the chrome, and then I applied the Madam Glam - Edelweiss one step gel and tried to follow my original glossy version. Then I just filled the gold chrome areas with glossy top coat, and I was done.
I really loved this 3-D, matte/gloss look, even though I did not got much of the contrast.
In hindsight, I wish I used foils here, as I thought that metallic outlines of those circles would be really cool against the matte base.
As you can see, some days you just have to adopt and adjust your aim. This looks totally different than I imagined, but I love the result. I won't lie, I was pretty unhappy in the beginning, because this was not what I wanted, but in the end, I learned to love this.
