Ahhh, so many indecisiveness, I will leave this one to your imagination.
I did not wear this gorgeous polish in a long time, and I decided that today is as good as any day.
Absolutely in love with this sexy, vampy, deep ox blood polish from Layla Pro - N 16. Such an anticlimactic name for this gorgeousness.
I discovered this brand way to late, as it is not any more available for purchase in Canadian stores, at least not in the part of Canada where I live.
Originally, I was about to stamp this with gold, my fail safe color of the choice, even add some glitter gradient for extra sparkle, because I love sparkly manicures, especially at this time of the year.
This could make a wonderful New Year Eve manicure if you wish.
In the end, I decided to go totally different, simplified route.
While looking through my plates for image to stamp, I came across this fine lined image on Kelly Negri - KN25 stamping plate, and I knew I found what I was looking for.
If this sound like I had no clue what I was doing, you are partially right.
Rarely I have vision in my head and know exactly what I want to achieve.
More often than not, I actually reach for the base polish, and just go from there. I let polish dictate what needs to be done, it is like a meditation process for me, where all need to do is provide a blanc (or colored for that matter) canvas, and then I look for the images and colors to pair this with. Sometimes I think I will do one thing, and then surprise myself by doing something totally different than originally intended. This was a little peak at the creative process I go through when I sit down to play with my polishes. It is truly a healing process for me, it is the time for me to let go of the worries, and day to day living, I leave all of my problems at the door of my room, and let the creativity do what needs to be done for me at the time.
So you may say that my life is pretty complicated at the time, and all I need is some orderly, simple designs that will calm down some of the inner unrest... and we might be onto something...
So, I found my orderly, simple design and decided to go with green... I know, you did not expect that, but it was my subconscious speaking, and I was surprised when I reached for this stamping polish - Hit the Bottle - On the Loose with Chartreuse.
Chartreuse seem to be my favourite stamping polish color, as I have it in at least three different brands! Who knew! But you will have to admit, this did look striking in the end.
I am pretty chatty today - I must feel better... and I do feel better, thank you for asking. It is not really often that I give you little glimpse in my most private of worlds. This was my gift to you... now, I will let you enjoy the rest of your day.
Cheers!
