Base for the carnations is Ruby Wing - Clean linen, which is solar scented polish. On the lid it says that on the sun it should go to pumpkin orange, which is not the case, and it was sitting on my shelf forever. I just wanted to use it up as a base instead of white, so I do not feel bad for purchasing it. Because it is not pure white, it gives the whole look vintage vibe, which I like very much.
Flowers are done using acrylic paint and flat brush. If you are not familiar with the technique, you dip one half of the flat brush in one color, and other half in lighter or contrasting color to paint all sorts of different designs that will look so dimensional... Just google the technique and I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
Pink textured glitter is by Julie G - Ho Ho Ho. I am not sure if this supposed to be a red glitter, but ever since I purchased it several years ago, it was pink...
I was not intentionally picking the polishes that may not be what they should... it just happened this way. LOL!
Anyhow, here are my freehand, one stroke carnations.
Have a fantastic day!
Cheers!
