Anyhow, for today I have a manicure for the Candy prompt.
Super appropriately named base is Cookies 'n' Cream by Pure Ice. This is one of my favourite crellies. I even purchased the back up bottle for just in case that I ever run out of it, even though chances of me running out of any polish any time soon are slim to none. This polish is in my collection for several years now, and every time I wear it, I wonder why I don't wear it more often.
Cookies 'n' Cream is white crelly with black matte glitters in few sizes. Applies easily, and glitters distribute evenly. I also love the glitter size - they are small enough to lay flat on curved or small nails.
Images are on MoYou London - Festive 61 + 62, both received as a part of the My Mani Box last year, as a PR sample from the Beautometry.
I picked candies image with Essie - Penny Talk, made decals, but after I applied, them I decided that decals are too pale, so I double stamped with DRK Nails - Copper, and I have to admit that I did not really lined up the stamp very well.
All was topped with Elemental Ward - We're All Matte Here by Lucky 13 Lacquer.
I never wore this crelly matte, but have to admit I love it like that. I am on the matte kick, so bare with me. Thing is I love brilliance of the colors with the glossy top coat, but matte makes it infinitely easier to photograph.
That said, you can truly change the feel of the manicure just by using a different top coat. It appears that I am in some kind of experimental stage at the moment, and matte/glossy is my current fascination...
Naturally, I had to have my favourite chocolate as a prop, and I am regretting not picking up different color of it, as this one blends way too much with the everything else.
This is all from me today.
Have a wonderful day.
Cheers.
