On that note, I did prepare a camouflage manicure, one that would resemble some kind of military fatigues, but for the life of me I could not figure out for what kind of terrain these would be appropriate. I just stamped colors that I thought would look good together, and this is what I ended up with.
Now when I think about it, I could of use purples and pinks here, and that would be really hard to blend in any particular climate or ground...
I am still trying to use all of the glitters I was hoarding all of this time, and I had to incorporate green holographic glitters I purchased while ago from Born Pretty Store. This was item #35944 color #4 if you are interested in. This green glitters came in a little bottle, and I find this awesome, because you can control where do you want to sprinkle the glitters, which is reducing amount of the mess considerably.
I applied it on my thumb and pinky over Yellow Stopper by American Classics. That ensured that glitters would have a base to stick to. Then I just added couple of coats of top coat to smooth the surface and make it look like I used polish. You can always use my discount code SHGK31 for all full priced items in the store.
On the rest of the nails, I used Pretty Serious - Undercover Mermaid. I thought that name nicely ties in with the title. Undercover Mermaid is nude grey crelly with some iridescent flakes that you can see on certain angles. They are surprizing twist to otherwise boring color.
Stamping image I used is from Kelly Negri KN24 stamping plate, and comes as layering design. The best thing about this one is that you do not have to pay any attention to aligning images - it supposed to look random!
For stamping, I used following polishes: Hit the Bottle - Smurf Blood, Mundo de Unas - 65 Lime and DRK Nails - Metallic Brown.
All topped with Seche - Fast dry top coat.
