This month, Cirque Colors is turning 10 years old, and for the birthday bash, they prepared a really great giveaway. They wanted us to show our first Cirque polish, and here is the first Cirque Color - Cabana Capri I ever purchased. This pretty turquoise holographic polish was discontinued for a while, and if I am not mistaken, I purchased this one from Harlow & Co. one Black Friday sale... As I said, there is a while since I purchased it, and I did wear it only for couple of manicure. It was a nice to get re-acquainted after all this time.
Bottle also features the old logo, which I miss. Everyone these days are going for the simple bottle designs, and this one was so bold and unique, especially that calligraphy "C". Ah well, I guess I have to get in the sync with the modern times.
This polish still has amazing formula, and was fully opaque in two smooth coats.
Now, I am not much for wearing the polish without any additions, so even here, I had to add something little at least on one nail. Later I added more, but opted for this understated (at least for me) look.
Image I picked here has such a feminine feel to it, and I wanted it so badly over this pretty blue.
It can be found on small stamping plate PY-F015 I purchased on AliExpress while ago for pretty images just like this one.
Originally, I picked up the image using a black stamping polish, then colored it in into a decal.
Then I picked up bottom part of the image (butterflies) and stamped them light blue. That particular shade actually blended so well with the polish, that you could not tell that those are actual butterflies... Then I decided to go another layer, this time using a metallic blue, to make them little bit different than the background.
I liked this much better, and I hope you will like it too.
My whole province (or should I say vast majority of it) is under extreme heat warning, and I can only hope that they are wrong, and that we will not see the extreme temperatures we felt last Summer. That was brutal +47*C was very, very hot and unpleasant. Worst thing is that temperature would not go down much over night, so there was little to no reprieve from the heat.
So where ever you are, I hope you are cool, hydrated and safe.
Take care, and see you tomorrow.
Cheers!
