I started with recently purchased B Kind - French Beige, milky polish that I will wear a lot if it is to judge by how much I liked it.
Nice self leveling formula makes this polish easy to apply for that clean girl look on its own, or as a base for a nail art.
I had idea in my head, and went to transfer it onto my nails... only to hate it after first few brush strokes... Maybe it was too early to judge, but that great idea did not look as good on my nails as I imagined it. I used franken sheer polishes to apply bold brushstrokes in two colors on each nail.
I though I would love it, but it looked everything but something I should keep. I was in a time crunch, as I needed to go to the function in short time, and did not have enough time to start it all over again...
Pretty rose gold leaf to the rescue. I applied small pieces randomly on my nails, and voila, what I hated all of the sudden start turning into something positive in my eyes. It is interesting how little bit sparkle can do this for me.
I went through some of my older stamping plates, ones I purchased way back (more than 10-15 years ago) to find single small butterflies to stamp here. Back then plates were small round discs with few small individual images, and if they contained full sized image, it was small even for my nails, and I am the one that complains that nowadays images are too huge... I guess I am yet to find a happy medium...
I also found some stamping with images I even forgot I have, and already have plans to use. It was obvious that I did not open those holders in a very long time.
Stamped found individual butterflies at random over the nails using black stamping polish. This was literally going back in time when stamping was just that, picking up image in one color then stamping onto the nails. Reverse stamping was something that was yet to come in my life, and layering images were not even in the bud... It was nice to go back to the beginnings, even though I would not do something "daring" as this back then.
We came ways since then.
All was finished with glossy top coat, and I could not love them more than I did.
Have yourself amazing day everyone.
Cheers!
