I do one manicure every year dedicated to this topic, as we all will be touched by that cancer at some way in some point in our life. If we are fortunate enough not to be diagnosed, chances are that we will know at least one or two women affected by it, or even a man for that matter. If man is coming from the family with history of breast cancer in several females, chances are that he might be diagnosed with one too, as he is probably carrying gene that will make him susceptible to breast cancer.
Monthly self exam and mammogram are great ways of early detection of breast cancer, and early detection may be the difference of between beating it, or loosing the battle.
Pink ribbon is for breast cancer.
Pretty pink glitter bomb is regular polish from Hit the Bottle - Barbie on acid. You gotta love the polish with that name. Hit the bottle have the few non stamping polishes and I may own some of them...
As the accent nail I used pretty pink crème by China Glaze - Neon and on and on. I can not remember when I wore that one. It was a high time to use it again.
Image of the ribbons is on the Bundle Monster - BM-321 stamping plate. I stamped full image on first with a Esmaltes da Kelly - Dolly, than with Kiki. I double stamped to make it more visible. Even those two are totally different pinks, but they looked pretty similar on the nail. On pinky and index finger I just isolated one of the ribbons from the full nail image, and stamped in the same fashion.
Lacy ribbons on my middle finger is from the same plate, and it reminded me of lacey lingerie, bra strap in particular, which is quite appropriate for this topic.
Image with word 'hope' is from MoYou Nails - 115.
