Let me tell you first about this Born Pretty Store Thermal soak off gel polish, item #39449 color choice 16. This thermal soak off polish came with the matte top coat, and I have to admit, I loved the combination.
This thermal is amazing! It goes from intense, neon green in warm state, to deep teal in cold. I love drastic thermals, and this is one. It was so hot at my place, that I could not get a good photo of the cold state, but managed to take a photo of transition. Even that was a challenge, and you can see that my hand is wet on one of the photos. I tried to spray it with alcohol and blow at them with the small fan, but that gave me about 5 seconds to work with before everything would go neon green. I actually recorded short video for my Instagram account, where I would dip my tips in icy cold water, and as soon as I would take my hand out of the water, color would start to change. I will have slide show of this demonstration little bit later, so keep on reading...
I can not wait for little bit cooler weather to wear this beauty.
To achieve this opacity, I applied three thin coats over the base coat, and I cured each layer for 60 sec. in my little LED lamp. My lamp is not particularly strong, so I always have to cure for a bit longer. It took the same amount of time for the top coat.
I was really happy with this look, and I had really hard time on deciding what kind of nail art would look good over this polish, and one other item that I received seem to perfectly fit that bill.
I received round stamping plate BP-124, item #39697, adorable plate with images that range from globe, to famous landmarks to means of travel and luggage.
My nails are pretty long at this moment, and I was more than happy that all of those image chosen fit my nails. I usually have a problem with fitting most of the images, but this time it was perfection!
I was seriously in love with the way this manicure looked at the end.
I started by stamping images first with Hit the Bottle - As Black as Night, then with Kleancolor - Metallic Yellow. I also added a random gold glitter on the bottom of my nails. I thought travel themed images are perfect for thermal polish- in my head that represented time zones.
I can only hope that you will like this idea as much as I did.
Plate is also a must. Born Pretty really packed this plate with whole bunch of images that you can use in many concepts. Etching is perfect, and really, there is never a problem with image pick up with those plates.
And of course, you know that I do have discount code SHGK31 that is good on all fully priced items in the store. It is also known that Born Pretty Store has free shipping world wide, but keep in mind that shipping time may vary due to your geographical location, and customs.
