I spent numerous summers in the library picking up the new reads for the week, and would average 5-7 books a week. Yeah, I know, I am a fast reader, and more often than not I can't put the good book down, and would spend the night up just to find out the ending. My tastes are wide, and would read anything from biographies, to fantasy to drama, easy read to classics. No genre is left untouched by yours truly. There is nothing better for the child with an overactive imagination than to dive head first into the books. They would play vividly in my head, just like a movie. I think that this is longest love affair I ever was involved in, and it does not look like the flames will go down to ashes any time soon.
I purchased the stamping plate for the book lovers, and I finally got the time to do the manicure using it.
My super pretty base is by Dam Nail Polish - Yep It's Yellow. I have couple of polishes by this brand, and had to purchase another one, as I was having my eye on it for a while.
I got it from NailStuff.ca during the Black Friday sale, and I am super happy with it. It has smooth, easy to apply formula that was almost fully opaque in one smooth coat. This is actually a big deal, as yellow polish always takes more than couple of coats to achieve the full opacity. On the photos below I am wearing 2 coats.
Images I used are on Maniology x PolishedJess - M057. I made decals, but was in too much rush to apply them, so they turned out somewhat wonky...
In any case, I used my current read as a prop - "The Time of Contempt" by Andzej Sapkowski - the Witcher Novel. I got it few years back to read with my son, then buried it under avalanche of other books... now that I found it, I want to see how series measure up to the novel.
Have an amazing weekend.
Cheers!
