Decided to use one of them today. I actually have this set for years, and I always seem to use just a one of them, because set consisted of five totally different images, with one common thread - water. Set I got is one of the Milv decals, N362.
I love how serene this row boat looks against this blue water, and I decided to freehand some water on my middle finger using different polishes.
I started with the white base on both, my ring and middle finger. I used Jessica - Sharktooth. I applied the water decal onto my ring finger, and using a thin brush, I painted horizontal lines using following polishes: Sally Hansen - Barracuda (lightest blue), Picture Polish - Surf which I also used on my pinky and touch of Heroine NYC - Royal Blood. Using the same, small brush strokes, I was blending the polishes, and I tried to mimic the water on the water decal, until I was happy with the result.
I loved the contrast of the fire engine red boat against the cool blues of the water, so I decided to introduce some more of that red and I painted my index finger with Glisten&Glow - Apple Picking & Antiquing. To bring some more blues to that gorgeous red, and to tie it up with the water element, I added some blue rhinestones and some silver caviar beads.
I loved the way this looked, and I hope you will like it too.
Keep cool and hydrated, and if possible, stay in shade.
Cheers!
