This look was done with another product I received from Born Pretty Store.
I shown you one manicure done using Born Pretty - Watercolor nail polish, and this is the second one I did using a different color. Color I used today is item #50547-8 - Ultramarine.
With first color I learned that this will not bleed like an ink, and that it really behaves like a nail polish in every sense of the word - It dries quick, and react to acetone instead of the alcohol.
Now I needed to test it and use as a watercolor...
I started with the white base polish and I added matte top coat. Then I started painting - I really liked the look of the index finger, and the ring finger, but middle finger I had to do over 3 times, and in my humble opinion it was getting worse with every next try... so I decided to stop while I am still ahead.
I imagined some kind of abstract flowers, but those looked like poppies, and decided to go with the theme. Blue poppies are not really that far fetched, as I do have pretty purple ones in my garden.
Because I did this just before Remembrance Day, I figured I can have themed manicure, but then I changed my mind in posting them on that day, as blue poppies could mean a disrespect. I do have only the respect for all the man and woman that laid their lives so I and my children can live in a better world.
I also added a stamping that was really appropriate for the theme, and image is on Clear Jelly Stamper - CjS LC- 08.
Added an accent color that complimented this Watercolor nail polish - and for that I used Enchanted Polish - January 2014.
Over the freehand design I applied matte top coat.
