There are 29 Morpho species, and them can be different color, but blue seem to be everyone's favorite.
As a base, I used pretty polish by Different Dimension - Eat, Drink and Be Scary, from the Halloween collection few years back. I just love how different this polish is, and I am sure glad that I picked up the bottle while I could. Hunter green base is full of green, gold and brown round glitters, and it makes me think of moss, or the deep green canopy of the trees, which was perfectly appropriate as a base for the butterfly from the tropical forest, and we know how deep and dark they can be.
Images I used here are on Uber Chic - UC 3-01 stamping plate. I am on the mission again to use the stamping plates that are still having a protective foil. This folder was the first I picked, so expect more manicures with Uber Chic plates. They are also one of my favorite brands. I picked up image with navy blue polish, then colored the wings in using light blue polish. This was pretty, but kind of on the blah side. You know that double stamping is my favorite, so I grabbed metallic blue polish from Essie - Blue Rhapsody, and double stamped after I applied the decals. My lining up of the image was not my best work, but in the same time, it gave the image illusion of the movement, and that was exactly what I wanted. Dimension is always a good thing. I also used this polish to add some dots on the other nails.
I hope that all of you are doing well, and that will have a minute to enjoy the sunset, just like I plan to do.
Cheers!
