Yesterday was a bitter-sweet day - it was my sister-in-law's birthday, but also my late husband's birthday. It only seems fitting to post something that would make it better - flowers for both of them, and super pretty polish my late husband purchased for me when Target store was closing in our town. Color is totally me, and it made me smile every time I wear it, especially when I try to picture hubby digging in the bins full of nail polish trying to pick one for me. That was so sweet of him, I just can imagine few of the looks he got at that shopping trip.
I am wearing Cover Girl - Leading Lady. Beautiful berry pink, and color I could wear any time of the year.
Images used are on the Flowers 001 stamping plate I purchased at AliExpress this Summer. I decided to stamp flowers using metallic blue polish, as I love to mix and match designs and finishes in the same manicure. Outlines are done using navy blue, and then I used small amounts of white, orange and yellow to add some more details and depth.
Love this manicure, and fact that I would smile every time I would catch the glimpse of my hands is priceless. It is amazing how little things like this can make your day.
We are entering the long weekend, as it is Thanksgiving weekend in Canada, and I am looking forward getting few more days of the beautiful sunny weather we are having here.
This is the perfect weather for me, as I am not really crazy about extreme temperatures in either direction.
Wishing you all an amazing day.
Cheers!
