Well, it is a time for the Monday blues, and I have one that is really simple, and just what I needed...
As a base, I used A England - Glastonbury. This is grayish based holographic polish with some pretty blue shimmers. I had a hard time capturing them, but trust me, they were there, and so pretty. First coat was pretty sheer, but to my pleasant surprise, second coat build it to a full opacity. A England formula is always so smooth and easy to apply, I wish I can afford more of their shades. I got another polish from this collection, very similar, but with green shimmers.
Such a clean looking polish was asking for a clean design, and I decided to use all the blues here.
I used image from Uber Chic - Lovely Leaves 5 stamping plate. First I stamped with A England - Sprit of the Moors inner part of the leaves, then all was outlined with China Glaze - First Mate.
I absolutely loved this cool toned look. Blue is not color I usually go for the leaves, but I was in the moment, and in the end I was so happy with unconventional color scheme.
I paired it with my silver and moonstone ring, and wore it to work with the same ring.
Loving the simplicity of this, and it is nice to wear something simple from time to time.
After hot and muggy weekend, I am ready to go to air conditioned office, even though that means that I will have to actually work, and rest will be something that I will crave so bad before the week is over... I know, I know, who can please me?!
Wishing you all a wonderful week.
Cheers!
