This manicure was done this spring, and never got to be posted - I was possibly having other things happening, but for what it is, I am showing you this manicure now.
My thermal base is by Lucky 13 Lacquer - Take A Look, It's In The Book.
On the swatch above, I am wearing 2 coats and glossy top coat.
For this manicure I used the stamping plate by Maniology x CYO - M094. This was one of the plates that was created by the different people, and as you may remember, my designs ended up on few plates too. I just think it was handled poorly and as is, I will not be submitting any designs any time soon.
In any case, I was pleasantly surprised that there was a layering image for the possibly the cherry blossom branch, and I had to have it. It was meant to be worn across the nails, and I ma so glad I got this plate. On this plate there are few other layering images, so if you like this kind of images (and I like them too much) you should check it out. I purchased many of the CYO (Create Your Own) plates, because they are fresh and different. You are more than welcome to my discount code SANJA10 that will save you 10% at maniology.com.
Stamping polishes used are as follows - Maniology - Straight-Up Black; B. Loves Plates - B. a Tea Rose and Hit the Bottle - Magna Opus.
I just could not line up my image on the middle finger, even though I re-did it about four times.
Then I just gave up, and left it as is.
Now, looking on the stamping here, that is how my hydrangea looks at the moment, with brown, crusty leaves and blooms... I did noticed that just before the heat wave there were some new shoots and buds at the bottom, and I sincerely hope that they did survive, and that this beautiful plant will survive. I planted it this year, and it is gorgeous, red hydrangea, with bright, lime green veining. I never before seen one like this one, and when I spotted it, I knew that was it.
My roses are burnt and dry, so possibly next weekend I will try to go out and cut out those blooms and see if there will be more. Day lilies are dead looking, leaves are straw colored even though they would usually stay vibrant green deep into the season.
It makes me really sad to talk about this, so I will stop and wish all of you a wonderful Sunday, and to my Southern neighbors - Happy 4th of July!
Cheers!
