After a quiet day, and few movies later I sat down to write a word or two.
I have a nice, serene black and white look - that includes floral, of course. Florals were always my favorite subject.
Here I used pearly or shimmery white by Nicka K - NY136, which my hubby got me few years ago, while we still had the Target store in the town...
This shade is true blast from the past. Back in '80s, I wore this kind of the polish (and all pearly light pinks) pretty much during the whole summer. It looked great with tanned skin.
This one actually applied pretty good, without the streaks we are used to see with this kind of the polish. I do not wear it often, but it is really nice to switch it around a little bit.
After lots of color, I like to tone it down a little, as it is so nice to see something different from time to time.
Image I picked is on Uber Chic - UC 16-03 stamping plate. It is clearly too big for my nails, but I played with moving the image to get a little bit different look on every nail.
Lately, I have the issues with picking up the black polish, especially on the fine lines, so I have couple of broken ones, but that did not deterred me a one little bit.
My stuff is half packed, so I have to do with what I have.
You may see quite a few main stream nail polishes in a near future, as those were on the top shelf, and I did not put them away quite yet. I rediscovered quite a few gems I forgot I even have.
I only have a few indie polishes out, and I plan on packing them the last. Demolition/renovation date is not quite set, so I am enjoying the time to paint my nails as much as I can...
It makes me so happy that I do not need to get up early for work, but will have another day to stay at home and rest.
Have a wonderful day, wherever you are.
Cheers!
