You can see little snapshot of the design in the insert on the left.
I did not copy the design completely, but modified it.
Only part of the design that I actually kept is the black daisy.
I kind of liked the inverted color scheme for the change.
As a base, I used a collaboration polish between Sally Hansen + Jelly Belly - French Vanilla.
French Vanilla is off white polish with the tiniest black glitters that truly look like a little pieces of the vanilla bean in French vanilla.
Super cute, well done Sally Hansen.
This is one of those polishes that are really great during the summer. Nail art can become harder as temperatures start to rise, and polishes dry so much faster, especially the stamping polishes that already dry fast super quick. That is when crellies are super easy way to spice up the nail look, without any extra work needed on your side.
Because I could not fit the whole design on my nails, I decided to stamp the lattice like design, and for the daisies, instead of the red polish dot, I used metallic red confetti glitters for the extra sparkle. We know that I am all about extra. LOL!
Both images used are on Uber Chic stamping plates: daisy image is on plate 16-02, while lattice design is on 17-02.
Black and white is always such a classic look, and my red glitters provided splash of color and the sparkle - best of the both worlds.
I really loved this sharp look, and this just proves that you do not need to look far for the inspiration. Anything around can inspire me - that being the color combo, lines or design that will spark that little flame that you can adopt and change and customize just for yourself.
It just happen that I had some hot pink gerbera daisies in my vase, and they proved to be pretty good prop.
Enjoy your weekend, I sure plan to.
Cheers!
