Color scheme reminded me of rainy Autumn day.
Super pretty black crelly is Orly - Androgynie, and blue crème I paired it with is Orly - Snowcone. Both of those polishes I did not wear in a long time, and I forgot how good of the coverage Snowcone has. One coat was all it took for the full coverage, and color itself is perfection. I am trying to get out of the rut of using the same brands over and over again, and to reach out for the polishes I usually do not wear.
On the other hand Androgynie needed two coats for full coverage and well worth it - it is filled with gold shimmers and multi colored round glitters that look so pretty!
As a stamping polishes, I used Maybelline - Bold Gold, and DRK Nails - Extra Black.
Images are from two different stamping plates: Crow image is from Creative Shop 57 and bit too big for my nail, but was not sure if I would be able to shrink the image twice to the same size, so original size it was.
Of course clear jelly stamper was indispensable for double stamping, and also because I used it to layer feather images from Clear Jelly Stamper plate CjS -31.
Because I am in the middle of matte-all-the-things at the moment, I had to use Sally Hansen - Big Matte Top Coat. Actually, I like a combination of the glossy and matte finishes in the same manicure, so I used matte top coat only over the blue crème.
What are your thoughts on matte/glossy combinations?
This is all from me today.
Cheers!
