Today is my friend's Sharon IG@sharnailstar birthday. Whole bunch of us recreated some of Sharon's manicures, all in black and white. My world was oh so recent drained out of color, and I just could not do that to any of her manicures, but she is awesome in making them in black and white, I literarily just copied one of her originals... with slight difference... I lighten up her background - too much darkness in my world now, I needed a ray of light there.
Through my darkest hours, Sharon was there for me- every morning she would send me positive message, and brighten my day with something that is so uniquely her. There is no end to my gratitude. And she is still here for me. One of these days, two of us will get together, and then, watch out world!
Sharon created this tropical monochromatic number this summer, and I absolutely loved everything about it.
This is what I did when I ripped off this manicure from Sharon:
I started with white base of Jessica - Sharktooth.
I double stamped base using images from Dixie Plates DP 11 fist stamped rough design with Sally Hansen Magnetic - Graphic Gravity. Well I had an idea, but did not pan out, so I stamped over lined image using Hit the Bottle - Moonshine. Moonshine is shimmery white stamping polish that I skipped so many times until I seen Sharon using it, and now I wonder what took me so long to order it. It shows pure white shimmer when stamped, and on dark background looks almost silver. I think this is the color I did not know I was searching for! Becoming my personal favourite. These two made my background lighter, and that is what I wanted, little bit more light, and bit more contrast to the stamping on the top.
For that, I used Hit the Bottle - As Black As Night, and images are respectively from Harunouta 17 (Round plate), and YZW - No4.
I hope you will like this tropical manicure with the twist, and all that is left for me to do is to wish my friend happiest of birthdays, and many happy returns.
Thank you for being a friend.
Cheers!
