As a base here, I started with the pretty polish by El Corazon - No. Spring 04, white crelly with cobalt blue metallic micro glitters. It is so pretty, and I did not use it in a while, so today was as good as any day.
There is no doubt that I needed something over this beauty, but I just could not decide what exactly I want. On a days like that, I just start flipping through my stamping plate holders, and usually through the ones I do not open on a regular basis.
This time, I came across the cutest pineapple images, in three sizes, and I knew that I've got a winner!
Image is on Esmaltes da Kelly older plate, KN 15. I decided that I need to make them as colorful as I can, and I picked three stamping polishes: B. Loves Plates - B. a Kiwi, bright green I used for the leafy crown, and Hit the Bottle - From The Ground Up (mustard) + Espresso Martini (brown) for the fruit itself.
I loved how simplistic yet still colorful this looked, and I enjoyed wearing it. I used all three sizes - biggest one perfectly fit on my thumb, medium on index, middle and ring, while smallest was perfect for my pinky. This way, all the nails got the full size/nail coverage with just one images.
Pineapples are fruit often seen on the summer clothing, so this was perfectly fitting summer manicure. Not to mention that I love pineapples, and could eat my weight of the tropical fruit any time of the year.
We had some rain yesterday, and made the air so nice and clean, and crisp, it was so nice to fall asleep in the room that is not smoldering hot.
It is Friday - yay, and I am excited to have some time for myself... in a week or so I will take on the new position at work, and I am not sure how stressful I will be once that happens.
Wish me a luck!
Cheers!
