First one to show you is sheer black polish named Moonless.
It is buildable and goes from pale grey when applied as one coat, to black after a three coats. Even though you will clearly see that black color, it has lots of lights in it, and will never be solid like a regular black polish.
I seen so many manicures using the sheer black as a base, I had to have it.
It looks great glossy or matte.
I thought that will be a perfect background for a jewel studded manicure.
For that, I used one of the layering or over print stamping plates from Kads, and I used Kads Fashion 036 stamping plate.
We all know that layering images can give me some problems, but I think I did pretty well with the ones I used. Only one layer that I miss stamped in all the layers applied! I think that is pretty good for me.
Anyhow, I only did two gems, in a different style. Funny thing is, I did not really think much, just picked out the shape, and started stamping... when time came for me to take photo, I reached in my jewellery box and then realized that I actually recreated two of my own rings!
Those are my silver rings, they were bit too big to wear for photos, as they kept on falling over the nail, so I just put a smaller ring under them, to hold them in place.
Where is the way, there is the will!
Details and different facets on each stone is so wonderful, that gives the stamped stone so much depth, I could not stop staring at my nails.
I added a glossy top coat, but only over the stones, as I wanted them to shine against matte background, just like a rings in a jewellery box.
How I did here? See for yourself!
Have a sparkly day!
Cheers!
