I love Kads plates, and this one is pretty special. This is Kads Flower 016.
In a way, it reminded me of passage of time, and the way that nature detest any void, and will make sure that it is filled. It is almost like all the forgotten, unloved and unused man made items are abandoned, and now nature is reclaiming what was once hers..
Absolutely in love with every image, and it was truly hard to choose which one to use today.
My final choice was mike and phonograph...
As a base for the decals, I used the polish I just reviewed by Beyond the Nail - Kiss the Bride. For the first time in a very long time, I decided to make the decals on my mat - I was short on time, and did not want to bother with several stampers on my surface, so I just stamped on the clear polished spot on my mat, added color, then peeled it and applied on my nails. Just in case that you wondered why you see the mirror image on my nail - this was truly reverse stamping, LOL!
My black stamping polish by Born Pretty is super opaque, but it smudges, and that drives me to insanity. This way, I reduced the smudging, as the top side was actually my top coated first layer on the mat.
Rest of the nails got two coats of Anchor & Heart Lacuers - Partners in Lime, lime green flakie crelly with blue shimmer and blue flakies.
I actually wore this for three days!
When I was adding the links for this post, I noticed that Kads is having a huge sale, and you can save 40-50% off of all plates. You are welcome!
